What is CRG?
The Coastal Research Group, is the name of the nonprofit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization that operates SDN.
Who Runs SDN?
SDN is managed by a small group of volunteers and part-time staff. All directors, forum moderators, and admins are volunteers. Part-time staff help SDN with coordination of IT management, programming, and sponsorships.
Our volunteers feel an obligation to serve and help those who come after us. Being a doctor is a great profession, we want to help as many students as possible become fellow healthcare providers.
How Can You Help?
You can help in two ways, through donations and volunteering.
Donations can be made here through the SDN Forums. We keep our donation levels low so that students can afford to donate. However, there is no obligation to donate and all areas of the site remain free to all members.

About the ads

(08 Sep 2016) - Link

Because SDN is a free and independent resource, all partners, advertisers, sponsors and underwriters have no editorial input or oversight of SDN members, content or materials.

(11 Apr 2016) - Link

Advertisements are clearly delineated from site content with a grey box and the words “About the Ads” underneath.

(08 Sep 2016) - Link

Collaborative platforms:

Don’t advertise (SPAM). SDN is a nonprofit organization that promotes open discussion among students and doctors. It is not operated as a free service for promotion of your site, product or service. SDN does not allow ads in your signature, ‘stealth’ marketing, etc. These are quickly reported by our members and will result in banning and possibly blocking of site/product/service’s name from the SDN Forums.
