Description: Aim of the course: All aspects of multiple sclerosis are currently undergoing continuous updating and improvement, with new insights into the pathophysiology of MS, innovations in diagnostic protocols and widening of the therapeutic options. In this rapidly developing field, the aim of this annual advanced course is to gather together renowned experts who, through state-of-theart lectures, will provide updates on the status of MS research and clinical practice. The course will focus particularly on how to optimize the use of available drugs, according to disease characteristics and patient needs.
Learning objectives: This course will offer participants: Updates on etiologic factors and pathogenetic mechanisms; An overview of diagnostic tools used in patient screening and follow-up; A review of research methodology in MS; Criteria to optimize treatment administration. |
