Invitation à participer à une réunion d’information organisée dans le cadre de l’Assemblée
Mondiale de la Santé, sous l’égide de l’Organisation Mondiale
de la Santé :
Pour des informations médicales en
ligne dignes de confiance : étude des
spécificités en Afrique francophone.
Il s'agit de présenter les résultats actuels d'une étude portant sur la
confiance que l'on peut accorder aux informations médicales en ligne, et en
particulier les spécificités socio-culturelles en Afrique francophone. Des
propositions de lignes directrices pour la mise en ligne d'informations
médicales de confiance seront présentées et discutées.
Cette étude, financée par le
Réseau universitaire international de Genève (RUIG), a
permis la collaboration de l'Université de Genève, de l'Organisation
Mondiale de la Santé, de Institut universitaire d'études du développement (IUED), de la Fondation Health On the Net et de l'Institut des
Sciences Humaines du Mali.

Monday May 21st at 6pm, at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, room IX.
Invitation to participate to a briefing session and
a discussion organized in the context of the World Health Assembly, under
the auspices of the World Health Organization:
Towards trustworthy on-line medical
information: a study of specificities in
French-speaking Africa.
The purpose is to present the current results of a study of socio-cultural
determinants of trust for online medical information, and, in particular,
the specificities in French-speaking Africa. Proposed guidelines for the
publication of trustworthy online medical information will be presented and
discussed.
This study is financed by the Geneva International Academic Network, and is
a collaboration between Geneva University, the World Health Organization,
the
Graduate Institute of Development Studies (GIDS), the Health On the Net
Foundation, and the Institute for Human Sciences in Mali.
