Moreover, the most important scanningplanes of the normal fetal heart (apical four chamber view,subcostal four chamber view, long-axis aorta, long-axispulmonary artery, short-axis ventricles, aortic arch view)will be shown and explained from a clinical and diagnosticpoint of view Some important rules and practicalsuggestions will be discussed. The ultrasound exams will beperformed on pregnant women between 20 and 26 week ofgestation using a transabdominal approach implemented bycolor/power Doppler velocimetry. Objectives Each course(lectures and practical sessions) is designed to improvethepractical skills and interpretation of the operators whoperform ultrasound for diagnostic purposes in the field ofobstetrics and gynecology, by using latest generationultrasound equipment.
