(HealthDay News) -- You know it's important to eat lots of fruit and vegetables, but how can you jazz them up to make them more delicious? It's all in how you cook them.

The American Heart Association suggests:

  • Roast vegetables at a high temperature to caramelize them and make them naturally sweeter.
  • Throw fruit on the grill for a richer, sweeter flavor.
  • Lightly sautee veggies until crisp, not soggy.
