Health Tip: Drink Enough Fluids
Carry a refillable water bottle
By Diana Kohnle
(HealthDay News) -- It's easy to forget to drink enough fluids. But if you feel dizzy, your head aches or you're unusually tired, they could be signs that you're dangerously dehydrated.
The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics offers these suggestions to help you drink plenty of fluids:
- Keep a reusable water bottle on hand at all times; refill it whenever empty.
- Add a slice of lemon, lime, cucumber or strawberry to your water to add a bit of flavor.
- Add herbal iced tea to your water.
- Don't worry about downing one big serving of water at once. Instead, sip throughout the day.
