Signs you should see a doctor

By Diana Kohnle

(HealthDay News) -- Your feet have a big job in supporting the rest of your body. So when arthritis takes root in your feet, it can severely limit your mobility and ability to perform everyday tasks.

The American Podiatric Medical Association says warning signs of foot arthritis include:

  • Pain, swelling, stiffness or tenderness.
  • Redness near one or more joints.
  • A feeling that your skin is hot to the touch.
  • Significant difficulty walking.
