December 2008
HON participates to the AFGIS workshop which takes place in Hannover, Germany, the 12th of December. Click here to read the program of this meeting.
November 2008
HON participates to the second meeting organised by the Fondation franco-suisse pour la Recherche et la Technologie (FFSRT). It takes place the 14th of November in Archamps (France). This meeting aims to gather all persons linked to the e-health systems around conferences.

HON participates to the IBM WCG seminar which takes place in Geneva, the 11th of November.
The seminar is intended to inform the not-for-profit research community on how information technology can help to speed up research in areas such as healthcare, climate change and natural disasters specifically to encourage proposals for non-for-profit research projects to make free use of IBM's World Community Grid.

HON participates to the WOHIT conference which takes place in Copenhagen, from the 04th and 06th of November.
Internet users can be overwhelmed, both by the vast number of choices available as well as the difficulty in filtration of reliable information from this information pool. As the internet use becomes more prevelant in healthcare, content featured on healthcare websites can have a profound and direct impact on users' health. This session will discuss the importance of providing accurate, reliable information on healthcare websites so as to furnish end-users with the best possible content available.
September 2008
HON participates to the EFMI STC congress which takes place in London, from the 09th and 11th of September. The theme will be Open Source in European Health Care. The conference will explore the current and future issues related to open source in healthcare. In particular, there will be a focus on health records, ubiquitous computing, knowledge sharing, and current and future applications. The Conference will consist of invited plenary speakers and workshops, and is designed to actively engage the delegates.

HON participates to the
Swiss eHealth Summit which takes place at Wankdorf, Bern, the 26th and 27th of August. The presentation is entitled " Health Information quality and the citizen ".
HON participates to the
7th annual congress of UMA (Union Mondiale des Aveugles) which takes place
in Geneva from the 15th to the 23rd.
June 2008
HON participates to this
seminary of the Gdansk University of Technology. The presentation is
entitled " Wiarygodna informacja zdrowotna w ujeciu projektu PIPS".
HON
participates to the 21th conference of the Swiss Medical Informatics. The
paper presented is entitled "QA system to guide citizens to reliable health
information".
This meeting is organized under the aegis of the
Association of Industrial Pharmacists and the Health Communication

May 2008
HON participates to this
conference about Patient Empowerment, care and patient suppport. It is
organised hy the HIMSS ( Health
Information and Management Systems Society).
HON
participates to the 21th International Congress of the European Federation
for Medical Informatics.
Will be presented a paper entitled "Supervised approach to recognize question type in a QA
system for Health" and a poster named "Lexically based distinction of readability levels of
health documents".
In addition HON participates to the 1st
International Workshop pn Describing Medical Web Ressources DRMed.
