| Ti ( Cordyline) The Cordyline genus of the family Liliaceae , are generally
tropical trees and shrubs, which are native to Asia and some Pacific islands.
The ti tree ( C. australis ), also sold as C. indivisa or
Dracaena australis , can reach 12 m (40 feet) in height but is considerably
shorter when commonly used as an houseplant. The ti tree is also commonly
known as the tuft or cabbage tree, due to its crown of long leaves. [ 1 ]
