An effector lymphocyte with Fc receptors which allow it to bind to and kill
antibody-coated target cells by antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity
( ADCC ). T killer cells are a subset of CD8 + lymphocytes and are not to be
confused with natural killer cells .
