HONcode section for medical professionals  The HONcode is the code of conduct of the Health On the Net Foundation and is applied for voluntary health/medical websites. It was initiated in 1995 and has since grown to become the most widely used and best trusted ethical code for health/medical websites. More information is available in this section about the beginnings of the HONcode and how it is applied. In addition, provide tips to your patients on how to safely access a website or evaluate a website using the site evaluation tool. |
