As you know, the Health On the Net Foundation (HON) certifies health Web sites. With the emergence of the Web 2.0, a new way to communicate and disseminate information has emerged on the Internet. We define Web 2.0 as all the platforms where the user community can interact with the content and / or other users (forum, wikis, blogs, social networking sites, sites for sharing files).
Our goal is to address the evolution of the Internet and seek to propose rules for implementing HONcode adapted to Web 2.0. Due to the increasing number of web 2.0 applications and the demands from webmasters, the HON Foundation has produced a set of guidelines to accomodate for forums and other Web 2.0 in general.
