Content identified by the HONcode team

The content below is a sample of the content identified at a specific date by the HONcode team that justifies the respect of the eight ethical principles.

Collaborative platforms:

Moderators oversee specific forums. They generally have the ability to edit and delete posts, move threads, and perform other actions. Becoming a moderator for a specific forum is usually rewarded to users who are particularly helpful and knowledgeable in the subject of the forum they are moderating.
Administrators are the people who have overall control of everything that happens on the board. They oversee how the board is styled, what forums to create and how to organize them, what information to require from members and who to appoint as moderators.

POLICY CONCERNING THE USE OF LINKS
www.cancerforums.net/threads/5205-POLICY-CONCERNING-THE-USE-OF-LINKS

Respect Each Other and Each Other's Opinions:
This goes without saying, but if it is still not clear enough: respect each other and each other's opinions and thoughts. While arguing is allowed, don't let them get out of control. The Moderators or Administrators may ask you to cease and desist or to take it to the Private Message system and lock that thread.

Google's ad policy is very strict and all ads are carefully reviewed prior to being approved.

Advertisements or Solicitations Are Not Allowed:
Promotion, offer to sell, fundraising, and any other attempt to get money from forum members are not allowed. If it is the first time a member who has otherwise posted multiple times without any ads, that member will first receive a warning. However, warnings are at the discretion of the Moderators and Administrators. We understand that you might want to use your business site as your personal website. You may even include that link in your signature line. Nevertheless, when that information starts to migrate into the body of your post...
