This project has been realised in collaboration with the Joslin Diabetes Center of Dubai.
Partners: Joslin diabetes Center, Division of Clinival Informatics, Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and Health On the Net Foundation (HON).
Reasons for collaboration: The Internet is an inexhaustible source of information of all kinds, such as health with varying degrees of quality. Given the current wealth of health information, the Joslin Diabetic Center in Dubai provides accurate information on diabetes from the Health On the Net Foundation. The Foundation has developed a database of sites on diabetes and certified by HONcode. The Joslin Diabetic Center in Dubai, is affiliated with the Health Authority in Dubai. The site has been developed in partnership with the Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and the search engine offers only sites on diabetes which are certified by the Health on the Net Foundation.
