The MedRomand application for the Iphone enables you to find a doctor in the french-speaking cantons of Switzerland. It is also possible to search for a doctor by specialty (e.g: surgeon, general practitioner, dermatologist...), by languages spoken (besides French) by the physician, by his cabinet's location or simply by his name. Intermediate pages provide access to the names of doctors listed alphabetically. Ultimately, the user accesses a page containing the whole information about the physician (specialty, language and locality) and some additional information such as phone number or the website of the doctor if it exists. The user can easily initiate a phone call form his sheet and prepare for his travel by clicking on the address of the doctor.
MedRomand is an application developed by the Health On The Net Foundation. The information concerning the medical professionals are provided by the AMG (Association des Médecins de Genève).

The HONPedia application is a multilingual medical encyclopedia on the most common diseases. The feature of this encyclopedia is to present only reliable information from sites certified by the Health On The Net Foundation. Diseases are listed alphabetically and return on a detailed file which contains the main themes related to a disease, such as Generality/Definition, Association, Prevention, Symptoms, Treatment and illustrations. This encyclopedia is mainly dedicated to the public and the content, selected with care of the foundation, is simple to understand. It is also possible to go directly to the site that produced this information to get more details. Finally, it is easy to access other languages via the interface at the top right and search by keywords.
