The Foundation's Advisory Board,
providing expertise, identifying specific projects for the Foundation
and supporting their successful implementation, includes the following
members:
Randy Miller, chair of the HON Advisory Board
Randolph A. Miller, M.D., is the Donald A.B. and Mary M. Lindberg University Professor of Biomedical Informatics, Medicine & Nursing. Dr. Miller is well known for his expertise on medical diagnostic systems and knowledge bases.
Professor Alexa T. McCray
Alexa T. McCray, Ph.D. recently joined the faculty of the Harvard Medical School and is a member of the Clinical Computing Research Group at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She is the former Directress of the Lister Hill National Center for Biomedical Communications, a research division of the National Library of Medicine (NLM) at the National Institutes of Health.

Professor Enrico Coiera holds the following distinguished positions:
Professor and Foundation Chair in Medical Informatics, Faculty of Medicine; Co-Director, Centre
for Health Informatics; Adjunct professor, School of Computer Science and Engineering, University of New South Wales, Sydney.
Professor R. Brian Haynes
Professor of Clinical Epidemiology and Medicine, Chair of the Department of Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics, Chief of the Health Information Research Unit of the Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University, and a member of the active medical staff of the Hamilton Health Sciences Foundation. |
