SONIA ROSCHNIK
Sonia is the Operational Director for the NHS Sustainable Development Unit, whish supports the NHS in developing sustainable services. The NHS carbon footprint is bigger than the city of Paris'. It was therefore one of the Unit's top priorities to publish a carbon reduction strategy for the NHS in January 2009. Sonia has worked in health and social services for the past twenty years in the UK and abroad. She first gained experience as a clinician, and then as Private Finance Initiative project manager and recently as Deputy Director of Operations in a large University Hospital.
Sonia will present at the Health Executive Summit on Friday 21 May 2010 on the topic "A sustainable health system – What does it look like?"
